This is green chile roasting. In the fall the chile is harvested and brought in burlap bags to grocery stores and other chile roasting sites all over NM. The first picture is large amounts of chile roasting. It smells so good! The next picture is how it looks after it is roasted. You can pick the chile's when they green, or you can wait and leave them on the vine longer and they turn red. The last picture is a smothered burrito with what we call "Christmas" because they wanted both red and green chile. I will post the process of roasting in another blog post. 

So, that whole changing my Blog page to WordPress didn't work. Not for any other reason other than I just didn't do it. So it took me damn close to a year to figure out I'm really not going to use it. So I'm moving it back over here. Yea for me!
