Isn't it funny how in the moment you think something looks alright. Then you look back on it and realize that the dumb fake rats you put on the table, look like dumb fake rats. Live and learn. Sometimes the details get overlooked when I am working on getting something done and in place. Well hopefully The Barn will continue to get better with each passing year.  Oh and this one.... I totally overlooked the coke bottle. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't look brand new.  Details, it's all in the details.

If it was news to anyone, I love this time of year. There is no other time that I wish would slow down so I felt like I could really savor it. I am sadly so excited to get to the weekend and by the time Sunday evening comes around I am shocked that it is already over, never feeling like I truly enjoyed it.

There are a finite number of Halloween's and fall days left in my world. I really want to hold each day as tightly as I can. Those things that matter to me the most I see and experience the least. Halloween for most people is either fun, about their children or maybe not important at all  but for me Halloween is more than a holiday, it is a specific time, place and feeling. It encompasses so much of who I am as a person. When I am able to capture those moments, I hold on as tightly as I can but as everything... it fades and slowly disappears. I am left with that feeling always searching for the next time I can feel it again.
